FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The abortion doctor with hundreds of complaints filed against him by pro-life activists, says the allegations are false.
21Alive spoke with Dr. Ulrich G. Klopfer Wednesday concerning the recent complaint filings with the state Attorney General's office. The complaints from Indiana Right To Life claim he made mistakes on forms and didn't report a young teen's abortion in a timely manner, in accordance with state law.
Dr. Klopfer says in the last 18 months he has only had eight forms returned to him from the state, which needed to be updated because of overlooked or missing information. He says he does not know what happens with the forms once they are sent off to the state.
Dr. Klopfer claims he hand writes all of his records but the forms Indiana Right To Life received from the state are type written. He says he's been doing this for 40 years and the state inspects his practice every two years and he always passes.
