FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- As the old saying goes, a stitch in time saves nine.

There was plenty of stitching going on Friday at Sarah Jane's Yarn Shop.

To celebrate the longest day of the year, volunteers at Sarah Jane's are knitting from sunrise to sunset, all in the name of charity. The volunteers will be knitting squares that will later be auctioned off to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.
