NORTHEAST INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The pain and suffering associated with cancer may be eased a bit in Northeast Indiana, thanks to a big fund raising event Wednesday, that carries on a 34-year tradition of helping cancer patients.

Three percent of sales from 19 Kroger stores in the area will be split between the American Cancer Society and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.

The money raised provides a variety of benefits.

The Cancer Days event has provided over $4.4 million for cancer fighting causes.
