FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Good times, good memories, and good food! The 43rd annual Three Rivers Festival kicked off in downtown Fort Wayne Friday.

For nine days, the city will host the second largest summer festival in Indiana. More than 500,000 people are expected to attend the festival's various events.

There will be a parade at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning (look for the INC crew!), art shows, live entertainment, food, souvenirs, fireworks on Saturday evening, and much more.

Friday morning, Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry cut the red ribbon, officially marking the beginning of the festival.

Mayor Henry says, "It's all over the city now, which if fantastic. It offers something for everyone."
