INDIANAPOLIS (21Alive) - Indiana students are finally getting their ISTEP+ results.

The Indiana Department of Education released test scores Monday to students' families.

Test scores were delayed pending reviews of computer glitches in testing software developed by CTB/McGraw Hill. The review found interruptions in testing had marginal negative effect on students' testing.

However, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz, D-Ind., ordered last week the invalidation of nearly 1,400 exams statewide due to the technical errors.

Parents were given a login code to access scores online.

Ritz says if a student has not been given a score, he or she will receive an explanation as to why, likely in relation to the thrown-out test.

It is not know if students whose tests were invalidated will be allowed to re-test.

IF A STUDENT "DOESN'T" RECEIVE A SCORE... THEY'LL RECEIVE AN EXPLANATION THAT THEIR STUDENT EXPERIENCED SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH INTERRUPTIONS... AND "THAT'S" WHY.
