Angola, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The Angola woman who faked having cancer to collect thousands of dollars in donations appeared in court on Monday for her sentencing.

For pulling her scheme, the judge sentenced Landis to two years behind bars, suspending a year and a half.

She will have to serve 60 days in jail before being eligible for community corrections, and the judge hoped she'll have to work with cancer patients.

Landis will also have to do 200 hours of community service and repay the $10,000 she took.

She must report to jail November 17th.

Last month she pled guilty to one count of theft for stealing thousands of dollars from Angola community members at a fundraiser she set up.
