HUNTINGTON, Ind. (21Alive) - A Huntington woman was sentenced to six years in prison Tuesday for contributing to the drug-related death of another woman.

Christy Oden, 40, pleaded guilty Mar. 4 to reckless homicide of Annette Veach, 39, of Roanoke.

Authorities say Leach died Nov. 25 of morphine toxicity.

A three-month investigation into Veach's death led to Oden's arrest and charges.

Oden was also sentenced to two years of probation following her release from prison.
