FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Carroll High School and Homestead High School have accepted an invitation to join the Summit Athletic Conference.
The addition of Carroll and Homestead to the SAC is for football, boys basketball and girls basketball in 2015.

"We are excited to welcome Carroll and Homestead," Carlton Mable, South Side principal and SAC commissioner, said in a statement. “The SAC is recognized as a strong athletic conference and bringing in two more Allen County schools only makes us stronger."
It was learned last week that the SAC invited Carroll and Homestead to the league in those three sports.
The new SAC will consist of Carroll, Homestead, Bishop Dwenger, Bishop Luers, Concordia Lutheran, North Side, Northrop, South Side, Snider and Wayne high schools.
