Concordia Wins State Marching Band Title; Other Schools Place Top 10

INDIANAPOLIS (21Alive) - Seven area schools performed Saturday at the ISSMA Marching Band State Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The seven schools were separated into four separate classes based on student body enrollment.

In Class C, Concordia Lutheran High School's Marching Cadets took home the state championship.

Norwell High School's Marching Knights finished 5th in Class C; Angola High School's Marching Hornets finished 8th in Class C.

In Class B, DeKalb High School's Baron Brigade finished in 7th place.

Adams Central High School's Squadron of Sound tied for 5th place in Class D.

In Class A, Homestead High School's Spartan Alliance finished in 3rd place; Carroll High School's Charger Pride finished 10th.
