Man Critically Wounded In Twin Oaks Apartment Shooting (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - A man was critically injured Thursday night in a shooting at Twin Oaks Apartments.

The Fort Wayne Police Department was called to the complex, 2700 block of E. Paulding Rd., around 7 p.m. on reports of a shooting.

Authorities found the victim, 19-year-old James Starks, with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police believe the victim and another person were walking outside when someone else exited one of the apartment buildings, and opened fire. The suspect then fled by foot, police say.

No arrests have been made, and police have no suspect information.
