INDIANAPOLIS (21Alive) - Hoosier Lottery and three Indiana animal shelters have launched a campaign for dog adoption awareness.

The Hoosier Lottery's new Lucky Dog scratch-off game will feature photos of ten adoptable dogs from the Allen County SPCA, the Humane Society of Indianapolis and the Humane Association of Clark County in Jeffersonville, Ind.

The goal of the photos is to remind lottery players not only about animal adoption services, but to remind the public to spay and neuter their pets.

Each $2 ticket gives players a chance to win up to $10,000, and will have information about animal adoption services in their area.

Additionally, the Hoosier Lottery will hold a Lucky Dog of the Week picture contest on the Hoosier Lottery's Facebook page.
