Komets Hire Gary Graham As New Head Coach (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The Fort Wayne Komets introduced Gary Graham as the franchise's new head coach at a press conference Tuesday.

Graham, a Fort Wayne native and former Komets assistant, returns to the Summity City after one season as head coach of the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the Southern Professional Hockey League. The Ice Flyers won the SPHL's Presidents Cup.

Before Pensacola, Graham was an assistant for four seasons under Al Sims, whom Graham replaces. The Komets won three league championships in that time frame.

Graham has moved through the ranks, playing at North Side High School. He would later become head coach the Redskins, Snider High School and the Indiana Junior Ice U-18AAA team.
