3 People Killed In LaGrange County Crash (VIDEO)

SHIPSHEWANA, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Three people were killed Friday afternoon in a crash near the LaGrange County/Elkhart County line.

LaGrange County Sheriff's Department says the driver of a passenger car attempted to pass another vehicle in the eastbound lanes of US20 near CR1200W near Shipshewana.

During the pass, police say the car collided with an oncoming pick-up truck.

The driver and passengers of the car, all males, were killed in the crash. Their names have not been released.

The driver of the pick-up truck, Andre Nutbrown, 43, of Quebec, Canada, was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital. His condition was not given.

A portion of US20 was closed for 3½ hours during following the crash.
