FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The Fort Wayne Urban League held the latest in a series of meetings Friday night seeking community input to help end a recent rash of local violence.

The goal of third meeting held at Fellowship Missionary Church, 2536 E. Tillman Rd., was to create a community action plan which a task team can evaluate moving forward.

"It really isn't a quick fix," Jonathan Ray, president & CEO of Fort Wayne Urban League, says. "If we continue to persist, we'll find something we all can live with that can make a long term difference."

Ray says more meetings will be scheduled.
