KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Another Northeast Indiana school district is considering extra security measures to protect its students.
East Noble School Corporation superintendent Ann Linson says the district will not necessarily arm staff members with firearms.
For now, ENSC hired a security consultant who will tour the district's schools over the three days and recommend improvements to the administration.
The district is hearing public input at a school board meeting Monday night. Parents are invited to submit their own ideas for school safety.
Noble County Sheriff Doug Harp (R) proposed placing trained armed deputies in schools for all the districts in Noble County.
