FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - One person died Thursday morning in a crash near the intersection of East Coliseum Boulevard & Crescent Avenue.

He has been identied as Lucas J. Goodmann, 23, of Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne police say just before 8:00, Goodmann's red Chevrolet Impala was heading eastbound on Coliseum, when it clipped a white Pontiac while changing lanes.

His Impala then rear-ended a semi-truck stopped at the light at the Coliseum & Crescent intersection, and stopped across two lanes of Coliseum traffic.

The force of the impact between the Impala and semi pushed the semi forward two feet, police say.

Goodmann died at the scene.

No one else was injured.

Eastbound traffic on East Coliseum Boulevard, between North Anthony Boulevard and Crescent Avenue, was shut down for a few hours. All lanes of Coliseum have since reopened Tuesday.
