FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - Rescue crews from Allen County had a busy morning rescuing a cable installer who drove his truck into high water near.
Authorities say around 10:15, a DirecTV employee was driving on South County Line Road near the St. Marys River. The driver passed a closed road sign, driving into high water. About two-thirds into the stretch of road, the truck got stuck.
Water did not flood the cab of the truck, and the driver managed to stay dry.
Fire department crews rode a small boat out to the stranded truck, and rescued the driver.
Crews were devising a plan to tow the truck out of the water early Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency personnel remind everyone to not drive through high water, and follow road advisories.
