FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Glenbrook Square will once again have a fourth anchor store next year, mall officials announced Wednesday.

Carson's will open in the fall in the former Marshall Field's building next fall. Carson's is a department store owned by The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. Carson's will offer a variety of fashion apparel and accessories and cosmetics, according to a press release from General Growth Properties, owners of Glenbrook.

"Carson's illustrates our commitment to offer our customers the best retail in the area," Chris Ford, marketing manager of Glenbrook Square, said in a release. "We're thrilled to offer our shoppers with yet another stellar retail option."

Glenbrook officials say remodeling for Carson's move will begin in early 2013.

"We believe our new Carson's will enhance the total shopping experience for consumers in the Fort Wayne market," Brendan Hoffman, president & CEO of Carson's, said in a statement.

The addition of Carson's will expand the department store to 14 locations in Indiana.

Marshall Field's closed at Glenbrook in July of 2005.
