FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The Imagine Masters Academy Board of Directors unanimously decided to go forward with an appeal, after Ball State University chose not to renew their charter.

The board says they'll send a formal letter to Ball State requesting the appeal. The university will then set a date for a hearing panel that will take place anytime between now and the end of the school year.

The regional director of Imagine Schools, Rachel Curillo, says parents are still enrolling their kids in hopes that the appeal goes through. But wiith two other Fort Wayne charters being pulled, parents won't have many other options.

She says many students have mentioned that their parents would consider home-schooling them, or with the vouchers, they could go to some private school. She says a lot of parents are discouraged by public school, but a lot of them won't have many other options.
