FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The American Cancer Society is celebrating 100 years and Thursday morning breast cancer survivors, supporters and ACS staff held the annual Kickoff Breakfast in anticipation of the upcoming Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.

It was a morning filled with inspiration, especially from guest speakers who spend so much of their time raising awareness and money who are also survivors.

The annual walk will be held Saturday, Oct. 12th at Headwaters Park and there's still time to get involved.

Melissa Long and Linda Jackson served as co-emcees of the Kickoff Breakfast Thursday morning.
