FORT WAYNE, Ind., (Indiana'sNewsCenter)---Ten months ago thousands of first-time runners packed the streets of downtown Fort Wayne to be a part of the inaugural Fort4Fitness half marathon.
The sold out event inspired many of you to get training for this September.
Monique Alderdice was one of those brave participants last year who crossed the finish line.
She says it's an experience that's changed her life entirely.
Now, 30 pounds lighter, she's no longer depressed and not feeling well.
Instead she spends her days helping others train for this years Fort4Fitness.
She wants everyone to feel the rewards she now enjoys daily.
Fort 4 Fitness is September 26th and it's time to start training.
