Sneezing, watery eyes and an itchy throat. To some people, allergies are just a nuisance-something they live with and suffer through. But to others, allergies, even a bee sting, can be life threatening. Untreated, allergies can have a profound impact on a person's health and on everyday activities, and they can lead to serious conditions, such as asthma, sinusitis or anaphylaxis.

Lutheran Medical Group offers an allergy and asthma clinic for adult and pediatric patients and a shot clinic. In the allergy clinic, where a unique treatment plan is developed for each patient, a variety of immunological problems are addressed. These problems, which are the result of the body's inability to fight infection, can manifest themselves into conditions such as recurring pneumonia, difficult-to-treat sinusitis and recurrent skin, blood borne (sepsis), bone and chronic fungal infections.
