FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - In this week's episode of Cool Science Monday, Martin Fisher from Science Central talks about the Winter Solstice on December 22nd, 2011.
The Winter Solstice is the day when the Sun is at it's lowest angle in the sky (ie, lower in the sky, compared to Summer when the Sun is higher overhead). It's also the shortest day/longest night of the year.
