FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - In this week's episode of Cool Science Monday, Martin Fisher from Science Central will talk about the science of fireworks.

Three “ingredients” are needed for fireworks – oxygen from the air, something to burn (like gunpowder and chemicals), and a spark or energy source. The chemicals in fireworks create specific colors when they’re ignited.
