FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- In this week's episode of Cool Science Monday, Martin Fisher from Science Central will talk about the Wild Minds exhibit which is open through Sunday.
It has displays about animal cognition, a term for thinking. This involves language, problem-solving, self-identity, tool use, etc. The brain and Nervous System are made of specialized cells called neurons.
Martin showed a case that had 5 sample brains. Human brains have approximately 90 billion neurons. For comparison, dolphin and chimpanzee brains each have about 25 billion.
