FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- In this week's episode of Cool Science Monday, Martin Fisher from Science Central will talk about water temperature.
Warm water is more dense (more particles are in a space or volume) than cold water. And, warm water is more buoyant than cold water.
Martin used a clear plastic box that had warm water (with red food coloring) on one side, and cold water (with blue food coloring) on the other side of the box. When Martin removed the divider separating the water, the warmer water flowed across and on top of the cooler water.
