FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- In this week's episode of Cool Science Monday, Martin Fisher from Science Central will talk about the motion of heat.

Heat moves. Heat moves from something that’s warm into something that’s cold. Cold does not move.

Martin poured some liquid nitrogen onto the carpet. Heat from the carpet moved into the liquid nitrogen and caused it to vaporize/evaporate. He could then touch the carpet. It was dry because the liquid nitrogen became warm enough to change from a liquid into a gas.
