Event Description

March 6, 2015 Updated Mar 6, 2015 at 10:15 AM EST

The Department of Theatre offers a great number of significant scholarships each year to talented incoming theatre students, including full ride honors scholarships available to students who qualify for the IPFW honors program. Typical scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $8,000 per year, and are renewable for four years.

Students interested in Acting and/or Musical Theatre should prepare either two contrasting monologues or a monologue and 16-32 bars of any musical theatre song. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music. Students interested in Directing or Design and Technology should bring a portfolio of photographs, sketches or other examples of your previous work.

Not yet admitted to IPFW?
Students are still eligible to audition for scholarships.

Although we highly recommend following the formal university application process, students are still eligible to participate in the Department of Theatre Scholarship Auditions on March 22 for consideration for the 2015-16 academic year.

To sign up for a Department of Theatre audition or interview, please call Joanne Schultz-Ithier, the department secretary, at 260-481-6551 by noon, Friday, March 20, 2015.
