On Saturday, April 13, the world-renowned Canadian Brass will hold a master class at Concordia Lutheran High School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sponsored by Conn-Selmer, Mynett Music and CLHS, this event is open to all brass players—trumpet/cornet, trombone, horn, baritone, and tuba—in ninth grade and above.

Participants will be divided by section (trumpets will go with trumpet brass virtuoso, trombones with trombone, etc.) and taught four songs. From 2 to 2:30 p.m., the participants will perform a mini-concert with the Canadian Brass. All are welcome to attend this free concert.

Cost is $10 in advance per student. Band directors bringing or sending five or more students will be admitted at no charge. Each participant should bring an instrument, folding music stand, sack lunch, and drink.

For more information or to purchase group tickets, please contact Dianne Moellering at (260) 483-1102 or dmoellering@clhscadets.com. Individual tickets may purchased at Mynett Music, 3710 Hobson Road, 482-5533.
