Local community organization, the North Anthony Corridor Group (NACG), invites neighbors and friends to walk or bike down to the Corridor this coming Halloween themed Walkable Wednesday on October 12th.
"This month's Walkable Wednesday will be Halloween themed" says Jill Downs of the NACG Communications Team. "In addition to the business specials, this month also features a pumpkin carving contest, live music by the Randy Kimball band, games, and free snacks."
greenDogGoods will offer 25% off all dog collars and leashes. Firefly Coffee House will be having a special on Pumpkin Chai and Pumpkin Pie Lattes. Old Crown will be offering specials on their adult beverages. The Bookmark will feature a book sale, The Health Food Shoppe will be giving out free samples and info, Creative Framing will have a 50% off in-stock art work sale, INRush Bicycles will be offering free bike safety checks, Studio Seva will be offering a free class pass, and State Farm and Acceptance Insurance will be offering information and snacks.
NACG’s Walkable Wednesdays are held the second Wednesday of the month (March-October). These monthly events encourage people to explore North Anthony Corridor businesses and to get to know the neighborhood. The event runs from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Business specials will run during business hours. All of the activities are free, family friendly, and open to all.
