CREEK STOMP VII
Hathaway Preserve at Ross Run
1866 E. Baumbauer Rd., Wabash, IN 46992
It’s that time again — time to get up close and personal with leeches, pinching crayfish and biting mosquitoes, fossils, waterfalls, cliffs, minnows, salamanders, and — if we are lucky — a snake or two. You’ll get wet, dirty, and inspired.
Presented by The Kissel Family.
PLEIN AIR PAINTING at Bock Nature Preserve (Kosciusko County)
Bock Nature Preserve, 11630 S SR 14, Akron, IN 46910
Bock Nature Preserve hosts a restored prairie teeming with color in late summer. Thanks to support from the Auer Foundation, we'll provide bold yellow and lavendar oil paints to render the Rudbeckia and Monarda flowers blooming among tall grasses. Bring only your artistic expression. Presented by Casey and Jennifer Limit 6. RSVP by August 1: 637-2273 or email@example.com
ACRES Land Trust 14TH ANNUAL WING HAVEN CANOE TRIP (Steuben County)
Wing Haven Nature Preserve, 180 W. 400 N., Angola, IN 46703

The Matchsellers: an ACRES Land Trust concert
Wildwood Nature Preserve, 409 E SR 14, Silver Lake, IN 46982
If you missed the show last year, don’t miss this chance to see the Matchsellers perform in the garage at Wildwood.
The Matchsellers are an alternative bluegrass duo that formed in Leipzig, Germany. Though they met abroad, the group’s members Andrew Morris and Julie Bates are Midwesterners (from Indiana and Kansas City, respectively).
The Matchsellers’ music is stuck somewhere between the electric blues of Chicago and the bluegrass of Kentucky.
Since June 2013 the duo has been on the road performing music full time. Consisting of a mix of traditional, covers and original music, the live performances are sure to please die-hard bluegrass fans as well as those not so familiar with the genre.
The duo has successfully completed self-organized tours through Europe and the US. Their debut EP, Claypool Dog Race is available to stream and download at bandcamp.com and their 2014 release, See the Light and 2015 release, Kosciusko County are available on iTunes.
