Historic Fort Wayne presents the Three Rivers Primitive Skills Gathering. We invite you to a weekend of teaching, learning, and friendship. Learn to build a wigwam framework. Try your hand flint knapping and natural dying.
Practice wampum and basket weaving. A menu of workshops will be available throughout the day, and you can visit the instructors at any time to learn their skills. No pre-registration is necessary. There will be displays of early tools, such as fish traps and atlatls, and a special “Kids’ Camp” where children can make bead bracelets, leather pouches, clay pots and more. There will be a small charge for materials for any workshop attended – most are under $5. Observers are welcome with no charge.

Saturday, May 3, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday, May 4, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
