A discussion of racism, mass incarceration and policy changes across America and in our community.

Statistics show one in three black men will be incarcerated in their lifetime compared to one in 17 white men. In the last year, police killed more than 100 unarmed black people. A rate that is five times higher than that of unarmed white people. Race affects our entire community. Now is the time to make a change.

Local panelists discussion will be held from 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m., with the opportunity for interviews afterwards. Ten panelists will be available, including Pastor Luther Whitfield of New Covenant Worship Center and andré douglas pond Cummings, Associate Dean for Admissions & Student Affairs and Professor of Law at Indiana Tech Law School.
