The Northeastern Indiana Kennel Club (NEIKC) is proud to announce the Old Fort Cluster Dog Show at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, Wednesday, November 2 thru Sunday, November 6, 2011. This is one of the largest fall dog shows in the Midwest featuring over 150 registered breeds. Purina is pleased to once again be the official sponsor of the Old Fort Cluster Dog Show.

This dog show is hosted by the NEIKC along with LaPorte County Kennel Club, Sturgis Kennel Club, and Marion Kennel Club. Show hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day, with Best in Show awarded at the end of each day’s judging. These special competitions will be offered at this year’s shows: A Best Veteran Competition on Thursday, November 3, a Best Puppy Competition on Friday, November 4, and a Best Bred By Exhibitor Competition on Saturday, November 5. On Saturday, November 5, the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Exam and Eye Clinic with CERF exam will be offered. Also, on Saturday, November 5, a Puppy Match will be held following Best in Show. The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America will host Specialty Shows on Wednesday, November 2, Thursday, November 3, and Friday, November 4. Specialty shows will be hosted by the Komondor Club of America on Thursday, November 3, and the Parson Russell Terrier Association on Sunday, November 6. Over twenty-five vendors from all over the country will be offering dog related items such as jewelry, collectibles, clothing, grooming and training supplies, custom leads, leashes, and collars, dog toys, vitamins and much more. Admission for this year’s show is free, however we ask everyone attending to BRING A PET FOOD ITEM to be donated to Community Harvest Food Bank

This five-day dog show will not only showcase some of the most popular breeds in the country but will also give the public the opportunity to speak to owners, breeders, and handlers about these breeds. Some of the top show dogs in the country will be at this dog show, so come and see some of the same dogs you will see at the Westminster Dog Show.
