This computer animation class offered through Summer Arts at IPFW is perfect for adults age 16 years and older. The class to dives into the world of animation for students at all levels. You can register by calling Continuing Studies at (260) 481-6057 or follow the information on the attached registration sheet.

Learn basic animation using the Walt Disney model, basic geometry, and object manipulation according to industry standard animation, and watch your shapes come to life! Create a small object animation from the provided model library and convey your own story by conclusion of the class. Limited class size. Animation materials included. Please bring a sketch book and your favorite drawing pencils to the first class. This course is for students 16 years to adult.

Allen Etter received his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Saint Francis and his Master’s degree from Bowling Green State University. He went on to teach for six years at USF as the Director of the Jesters, a theater and art program for children and young adults. He has periodically taught at IPFW since 1994 and has also worked at ITT Technical Institute, Bowling Green State University, Saint Charles Elementary, Saint Johns Elementary, New Haven and other local schools.
He is currently working a movie project involving students from IPFW, ITT Tech and artists from England and Scotland. The movie, upon completion, will be entered in local and national film competitions.
