Don't miss one of the most celebrated concert tours of 2015! Master of percussion Zakir Hussain and some of the world's greatest Celtic artists will perform at the Auer Performance Hall as part of Pulse of the World: Celtic Connections concert tour, fusing Indian and Celtic music. Artists include Charlie McKerron and Patsy Reid, fiddles; Ganesh Rajagopalan, violin; Fraser Fifield, flute/pipes; Jean Michel Veillon, flute; Rakesh Chaurasia, bamboo flute; John Joe Kelly, bodhran; and Tony Byrne, guitar.
IPFW College of Visual and Performing Arts and Shruti, the Indian Cultural Society of Fort Wayne, have made it possible for tickets to be priced at merely $10 each, a fraction of the cost at other venues on the tour, along with college students admitted free of charge. Throughout March and April, Celtic Connections - The Pulse of the World tour will perform at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts in Vancouver, B.C; Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall in New York City; and San Francisco Jazz Center's Miner Auditorium.
The IPFW College of Visual and Performing Arts and Shruti, the Indian Cultural Society of Fort Wayne, continue to offer Indian cultural experiences for audiences in northeast Indiana and are pleased to present yet another exciting offering in an ongoing collaboration to introduce patrons to some of the most acclaimed international Indian performers in music, dance and theatre.
