BEAUTIFUL NEW GALLERY EXHIBIT opens with a free Artists' Reception this Friday evening, December 5, at the First Presbyterian Gallery, 300 West Wayne Street, 5:30-7:15pm.
The exhibit will run from December 5, 2014-January 4, 2015 and features the beautiful fabric creations of Eunice Scully and Dan Sigler's delightful bird houses.
•Eunice Scully's love affair with fabrics began as a young girl growing up on a farm in Michigan. This led to a career working with fabrics. She has studied haute couture clothing construction and fashion design and has also run a business in alterations and custom clothing. She now combines teaching and creating art quilts in her studio at her home in Fort Wayne.
•Dan Sigler creates his bird houses in his beloved Sheridan Studio in Saugatuck, MI. The mission of Sheridan Studio is to combine artistic expression with discarded artifacts to give them a new life and purpose. All of Dan's constructions are one-of-a kind creations. Dan's work may be seen at his website: Sheridanstudio.net.
