Windsong Pictures, a nonprofit educational motion picture company since 1975, will present their annual International Windsong Film Festival at Ivy Tech Community College Northeast in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 19. There is no admission charge to view the family friendly films. The screening will be held in the Joan B. McNagny Auditorium on the Coliseum Campus (3800 N. Anthony Blvd.). The screening schedule is listed below.

RIPPLE is a feature length motion picture with an international cast of over 500 people from five continents around the world. Two years in the making and based on true stories, this compelling theatrical film embraces the lives of young and old who have faced grave injustices from neighboring bullies and abusers to imperial henchmen. In the film people unite to stand up against oppressors and comfort the afflicted with “Ripples of Kindness”. Through these nurturing acts of kindness, people finally come to realize and embrace what “ Feeling Normal” is. The screenplay has a truly inspirational message of hope for mankind. ( Note: The entire cast including refugees from Africa, Asia and Latin America live in the Greater Fort Wayne area, and a majority of the cast members were bullied at some point in their lives.)

The 1930’s & 40’s is narrated by gifted and seasoned actors who lived through the eras and vividly paint the pictures of that way of life gone by. In reflective retrospect we can greatly appreciate the conveniences we have grown accustomed to.

The Miracles of Santa Claus is a heartfelt and uplifting short film embracing meaningful moving stories of miracles set in Indiana, Colorado, California and North Pole, Alaska. With jolly St. Nick at the reins and a cast of 300 children and adults, this is a memorable film with a touching message of hope based on the theme:
“ Believe - and All Things are Possible”. The cast and crew have dedicated this film to a young student who is battling cancer with great courage and determination.

RIPPLE - 9:00 am & 1:45 pm
The 1930’s & 40’s - 11:30 am
The Miracles of Santa Claus - 12:30 pm
