Power of the Purse, a fundraiser organized by United Way’s Women United raises money for early childhood education in Allen County
Tickets are still available to attend and can be purchased at www.unitedwayallencounty.org/powerofthepurse.

Silent auctions of more than 100 purses, as well as a program with a live auction to sponsor child care scholarships

Funds raised support United Way’s early childhood education efforts and provide scholarships for low-income children to attend accredited, high-quality child care programs in Allen County. In the past, this unique event has been well-attended and raised thousands of dollars for local early childhood services.

Several high-quality early childhood programs, such as Lutheran Social Services’ Children’s Village, have openings that cannot be filled because children on the waiting list cannot afford to pay.
