The AIDS Task Force invites community members to visit the agency office at 525 Oxford Street on Thursday July 17 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Meet the staff and learn more about the services, mission and purpose of the AIDS Task Force. The 29 year old agency serves over 400 clients annually in N. E. Indiana. Through its outreach programs and linkage to care programs, the AIDS Task Force is making strides in keeping HIV positive individuals healthy and reducing the number of clients progressing to an AIDS diagnosis. The national average of HIV positive persons with an undetectable viral load is 25% while the AIDS Task Force typically achieves between 65% and 73%. Visit the agency on Thursday July 17th and find out how they are achieving this level of success.
Attendees are invited to bring a bag of non-perishable foods for the agency’s in-house Gregory L. Manifold food pantry. Providing food and nutrition is just one of the services that the AIDS Task Force makes available to all clients in the 11 counties in N.E. Indiana.
For more information on the community open house, please contact the AIDS Task Force at 260-744-1144 or 1-800-417-3085.
