National Contemporary Painting Exhibition
November 8 – December 21, 2014
Opening Reception: Saturday, November 8, 2014 6-9pm

(All galleries will be closed from November 27 – 30, in observance of Thanksgiving Holiday)

This exhibition will present works by 12 nationally recognized artists that focus on painting as an artistic medium. A variety of subject matter from realism to abstraction will be on display. Artists include: Chris Cosnowski (Chicago, IL), Peter Drake (New York, NY), Eric Edward Esper (Chicago, IL), Michiko Itatani (Chicago, IL), William Eckhardt Kohler (New York, NY), Shay Kun (New York, NY), Brenda Moore (Chicago, IL), Judith Mullen (Chicago, IL), Jennifer Presant (New York, NY), Michael Stillion (Columbus, OH), Chris Uphues (New York, NY), Ed Valentine (Delaware, OH).
All artists and works are presented by Linda Warren, owner and director of Linda Warren Projects, Chicago. That same evening, an opening receptation for artist Brenda Moore will take place in the Goldfish Gallery. This solo exhibition will feature paintings, mixed-media works, encaustics, and drawings on paper. Her works symbolize the emotions of frivolity and loss and adapt imagery from past history. Her works are presented by Linda Warren, owner and director of Linda Warren Projects, Chicago.
