5th Annual Benefit Wine Tasting
Black Pine Animal Sanctuary has announced the fifth annual Wine in the Pines benefit wine tasting, coming to the Albion refuge on Saturday, June 21 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Participants are invited to enjoy an early-bird staff-guided sanctuary tour beginning at 5:30 p.m. at no additional charge.
Wine in the Pines will feature the opportunity to enjoy wine tastings sponsored by Country Heritage Winery and Calhoun Street Soups Salads and Spirits, both locally owned and operated establishments, as well as national brands courtesy of Republic National Distributing Company. Hors d'oeuvres and live music by Joe Justice will also be provided.
Guests must be 21 years or over, with a valid photo ID, to attend this event. Tastings and animals are enjoyed outdoors. This event will be held rain or shine, with no refunds. Some shelter is provided throughout the grounds in case of inclement weather.
Cost is $25 per person in advance and $30 per person at the door. Pre-registration for this event is recommended due to the limited availability of products to taste, and possible sell-out in advance. Purchase reservations online at www.blackpine.org, or call 260-636-7383 to order by phone.
For more information, please consult Black Pine's website. All proceeds of Wine the Pines benefit the animals by providing the funding necessary to feed, house, and provide their veterinary care for the REST of their lives. Black Pine is home to nearly 100 displaced, captive-raised big cats, primates, bears, wolves, reptiles and more, and is a 501c3 non-profit, charitable organization.
