The Purdue University Master Gardener volunteer program helps gardeners grow by providing them with intensive training in horticultural principles. Participants, in turn, share their knowledge by providing volunteer leadership and service to their communities. Training sessions will be conducted at the Allen County Extension office.

There have been unexpected openings in the Spring Training sessions which will begin on March 16th and end on June 1st. Training will be held on Wednesday evenings from 5:45 pm to 9:15 pm and Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.

The Fall Training sessions will begin on September 7th and conclude in early November. Training will be conducted at the Allen County Extension Office on Wednesday AND Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM.

The $125.00 program fee includes class materials and a reference notebook.
