The AIDS Task Force, Inc. is pleased to announce that the 25th Annual Lesbian Gay Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday, October 5th at the Grand Wayne Center. Net proceeds benefit the programs and operations of the AIDS Task Force. This year we are featuring a live DJ, Bag Ladies from Indianapolis, performing artist Doug Strahm, and a Tapas style dinner. Doors open at 6pm with dinner at 7:30pm.
Tickets to the Dinner Dance are $50 and VIP tickets are $100 and include a Mayor's reception at the downtown Hilton Atrium. All tickets must be purchased in advance, call 744.1144 to reserve.
The Dinner Dance is presented annually as a celebration of the lesbian and gay community and a fund raiser for the AIDS Task Force. The event is produced by the Dinner Dance Committee, a group of gay, lesbian, and straight individuals. The Task Force serves as the fiscal agent for the Committee.
The Dinner Dance raises money through sponsorships and live and silent auctions. This year’s auction features concert tickets, amazing artwork and an exciting vacation package.
The AIDS Task Force is the oldest AIDS Service Organization in the state of Indiana and serves 11 counties in northeast Indiana. Task Force programs include case management for 400 clients annually and prevention education to 8,000 per year.
