FORT WAYNE – Farmland owners and tenants are invited to attend a farm land lease agreement workshop at 9:30 a.m., Nov. 16, in the Purdue Extension – Allen County office.
Leasing farmland can be confusing and many people don’t know what type of lease they have or would work best for them. The workshop will provide basic knowledge of lease agreements to help land owners and tenants understand the types of agreements and how to form better agreements.
Purdue Extension Land Lease Team members Paul Marcellino and Ed Farris will present the two-hour workshop. The team and James Wolff, agriculture and natural resources educator, will also answer questions during and after the workshop.
Due to limited space, pre-registration is preferred but not required. The workshop has a $5 registration fee payable in cash or check to Purdue CES Ed Fund.
Questions about the workshop can be directed to James Wolff, ANR extension educator, firstname.lastname@example.org. Rhonda Smith, email@example.com, will handle registration and payment. The office is located at 4001 Crescent Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46815 and the phone number is 260-481-6826. Purdue University is an equal access, equal opportunity institution.
