Dyngus Day, a huge Polish holiday celebrated heavily in Buffalo, Cleveland, and South Bend, is making its debut in Fort Wayne this year. Deer Park is bringing us the opportunity to eat, drink, and cheerfully welcome spring on Monday, March 28th.
Observed after the reflective (and sometimes rigorous) Easter season, Dyngus Day is a chance to party Polish style with a few unconventional traditions and of course partake in delicious Polish beer and food! Brunch at the pub begins at 10 am, and the festivities continue all day long – dress in your best Polish get up for the costume contest, wear red for Polish pride, and bring in the best pussy willow branch you can find to share your love for Dyngus Day!
