The October 1 Graduate School Fair offers attendees a chance to meet representatives of Indiana graduate programs in the region all in one convenient location. The fair, sponsored by the Northeast Indiana Career Enrichment (NICE) Consortium, takes place from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Indiana Tech Law School located at 1600 E. Washington Blvd. in Fort Wayne. The fair is free and open to all students and alumni of any accredited college or university.
More than 13 graduate schools will have a presence at the fair. A diverse array of master’s programs will be represented including applied computer science, biology, business, clinical mental health counseling, criminal justice, education, engineering, environmental health, healthcare administration, leadership, ministry studies, nursing, physician assistant studies, professional communication, psychology, public affairs, studio art, and technology degrees. There will be also be doctoral programs represented including a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), a Juris Doctorate, and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
The NICE Consortium comprised of career professionals from Grace College, Huntington University, Indiana Tech, IPFW, Ivy Tech, Manchester University, Trine University, and the University of Saint Francis, have worked collaboratively to give students and alumni of Northeast Indiana the opportunity to learn more about graduate programs throughout the region.
“This is a wonderful chance for students and alumni to meet and discuss academic options with representatives from a variety of graduate programs,” explains Cindy Price Verduce, director of learning support services and career planning & development at Indiana Tech.
