Roller Dome North and the Northeast Indiana Autism Connection are excited to be bringing a free sensory friendly event to the Fort Wayne area for individuals with autism or other disabilities.

The two organizations are partnering to offer a Sensory Friendly Skating event on Sunday, April 27 from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Hopebridge Pediatric Specialists will be covering the cost of admission for all attendees and will have therapists on site to assist children with skating. The typical features of skating rinks that usually detour individuals with sensory processing disorders or physical limitations from attending will not be present on Sunday.

There will be no flashing, bright, or colorful lights and no loud music. There will also be skate mates available to rent and gluten free food options.
