Each year the American Red Cross sees a decline in blood donations during the summer months.
On Saturday June 29 the second of three Ride for the Red blood drives will be held at Auctions America Park in Auburn, Indiana from 11a.m. to 3:30p.m. The Ride for Red blood drive combines blood donations with a memorial ride for fallen riders. Auctions America Park is located at 5536 County Road 11A (I-69 Exit 326). The blood drive is part of a three day motorcycle swap meet.
During our first Ride for the Red blood drive, the American Red Cross was fortunate to receive an overwhelming number of donations. To eliminate wait time we are providing two blood mobiles for this event.
To pre-register a donor appointment, go to www.redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS.
Four lives can be saved with just one donation.
The Memorial Ride for Fallen Riders Kickstands up at 12 noon.
**This event will run during the 3-Days of Music, MC Swap Meet, and Flea Market, June 28 - 30. Please check out that event page. https://www.facebook.com/events/314840871967366/
