Join us for a day of live music, vendors, raffles, food and a Pit Bull parade all to celebrate and educate about a breed we all love to call our family. The event is free and there will be plenty of fun for the whole family. Be sure to come ready to enter your pet in the Costume contest and Best Trick contest. Social and friendly dogs of all breeds are welcome to attend and join in the parade. Don't have a Pit Bull? That's okay! Come and learn about this amazing breed.
During Pits in the Park, NOOTERS Club® -- as in pet spay and NEUTER -- will launch its first online pop-up store as a fundraiser for Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition. The store, to appear at www.nootersclub.org/pitsinthepark, will sell NOOTERS Club® whimsical dog, cat and rabbit themed apparel with $5 from every t-shirt, $2 from every dog tank top and $1 for all other items sold, going to the Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition spay and neuter fund for pets of low-income families. The online pop-up store will be easily accessible from smart phones and tablets, will take PayPal and credit cards, and will ship all items on the next business day.
“Everyone is looking forward to this year’s Pits in the Park which has become a popular event in Fort Wayne,” said Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition Board President Megan Close. “We are excited to have NOOTERS Club® on board and are looking forward to growing our funding for Pit Bull spay and neuter in northern Indiana.”
NOOTERS Club® promotes pet spay and neuter and responsible pet
guardianship. The company also operates a comprehensive on-line
directory of low-cost pet spay and neuter clinics throughout the U.S. 248-253-0300
